Matteo Fischetti ( Padova University)
Matteo Fischetti (http://www.dei.unipd.it/~fisch) was born in 1958. In 1982, he received his degree in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) at the University of Bologna. In 1987, he got his PhD degree in System Engineering at the University of Bologna. Since 1997, he is full professor of Operations Research at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova. He is member of the Editorial Board of the international journals Mathematical Programming Computation, Journal of Combinatorial Optimization, and 4OR. He was Program Committee chair of the international meetings IPCO 2007 and ATMOS 2008, and plenary speaker at Matheuristics (Angra dos Reis, 2012), EURO XXV (Vilnius, 2012), VeRoLog (Bologna, 2012), Mathematical Programming Symposium (Lausanne, 1997, and Chicago, 2009), EuroGP2005 & EvoCOP2005 (Lausanne, March 2005), and 1st Nordic Optimization Symposium (Copenhagen, April 2006).
